TRICORE in Scottsdale is a culmination of my 19 years in the health and fitness industry as a massage therapist, Pilates teacher and personal trainer. TRICORE by definition is an exercise system that includes all essential components of fitness: endurance, strength and mobility in a one stop facility. It’s a 75-minute class that starts with 20 minutes of cardio endurance using rowing machines and body weight movements designed to get you warmed-up and challenge your cardio endurance.
Next, you move to 25-minutes of functional strength training. We create our programs with the intention of not just lifting weights and doing isolated movements but to develop balance, coordination and controlled quality full body movements. The final 30-minutes of the program is mobility work on the Pilates Reformer. This 30-minute session has an emphasis on mobility and flexibility.
